AccuPower™ Meter
A highly sophisticated power-management feature, the AccuPower battery meter displays remaining battery time in the LCD monitor or viewfinder with an accuracy of plus or minus one minute. It's all made possible by Sony's InfoLithium batteries, which continuously communicate to the camcorder.
No Memory Effect Problems
If you've used a camcorder in the past, you may be aware that Ni-Cad batteries have a "memory". That means if you regularly charge your battery before it's completely empty, it eventually "memorizes" the short use and becomes a shorter life battery. Sony's InfoLithium battery has no memory. No matter how often you charge it after a short use, the InfoLithium will be fully charged and ready to go.
